I was just reading an article on camera sensors (more specifically resolution and megapixel counts), at the end of the article were the following words of wisdom I simply had to share.
"...think less about the camera you have and more about the way you use it. Your photography will be better for it."

Too true, some of my best shots have been on a little canon powershot that I had for so long I could use it like an extension of my eyes. About 2 mega pixels, 3x optical zoom and no special features: as a result it made me think more about what I saw than how to capture it.
